VapingMad have taken the IPV mini back, I've ordered a Sigelei 30w mini... Reviews seem OK and I like the idea of a magnetic cover, comes with a skin so shouldn't fall off in theory... Got a few new batteries and a couple of KFL insulator kits as well, mine has practically melted... Probably need a new deck too but that'll have to wait...

The DNA 30 is still going strong even tho it's had its arse kicked for almost a year now, bit tatty but working fine...

I have been clean for almost six months now, so I am ready to let go of the last vestiges of my 25-year smoking habit. I have an almost-untouched 50ml bottle of Chef's Vapour RY-Whore (RY4), 50/50 12mg which cost £22 to get to me. Lovely stuff. Anyone want it delivered for £15? Also have a Kanger Evod 2, currently not working but just needs a new coil, which I don't have. £5 delivered.

This inside this is what makes all the rest just waste.

The Sigelei is great so far, build quality doesn't feel as great as the IPV but on the plus side it's lighter and half the price... The chip in it is identical to the IPV... Loads of power, much more than I need... So easy to swap batteries out, no need for a screwdriver anymore... Like...

If you like sweet tobacco, you should buy my Chef's RY-4! It's lovely: subtle maple flavour without being overly sweet.

since last post, been rocking a 'fuhattan' (manhattan clone) for about a month now, works really well with the kennedy and tugboat v2. lovely easy magnetic switch. no springs, like. needs a decent 30 amp battery though. £30 delivered with a kennedy clone dripper from China, no shame.

also been using the vaporflask dna40 for a while, with an orchid v4 tank. Joe, orchid v4 is like a kayfun with proper dual coil deck and lots of nice airflow. pain to fill up though. also experimented with nickel builds, kind of a bit hit and miss for me. need to build the coils using a screw (to space the coil out a bit to stop maxing the temps too quickly).

been experimenting with regular kanthal coils too, tried my hand at a 'clapton' for giggles (4 layers ribbon wire and 24g kanthal wrap), it actually works extremely well and it has all but put my normal coils to bed, in drippers anyways, at the moment.

have been toying with the expensive boutique juices, currently love clutch M.O.A.B. and 'looper'. too pricey to be ADV though (£16 for 30ml's), so been mixing my own MOAB with FlavorArt concentrates. sitting at 5mg right now, prob gonna start trying 0mg soon, but still enjoying it.

I've never tried a ribbon coil, bought a bunch of it but never used it... Now could be the time... After I've finished this last batch of juice I'm going down to 0mg as well, still got about 350ml left tho, so it'll be a while...

Still pretty happy with the KFL, would like to get the air hole drilled out but haven't got the equipment to do it... That's probably the only change I'd make... New insulators tomorrow so should be good as new again... Hope you're good, Boagz!! Love from Oz... X

The Craft Vapes sweet tobacco is not only less sweet but it has also a much more gentle and clean taste without leaving any trace of after taste.

give the ribbon a hoot Joe, it's good for a dripper (my favourite has to be the tugboat v2). making a clapton out of it just transforms the flavour, the wrap of kanthal around the flattened ribbon wicks juice like crazy. gotta use a high wattage device or a mech mod to get the most out of it though.

For the ni builds, try with a long M3 screw and wrap your nickel around the threads. It makes building it really easy and even. Then I just attach it to my atomizer and unscrew gently. Works perfectly for me...

Clapton coils are awesome. And they're not too hard to make, but it takes patience and a bit of training. I use them one all my drippers nowadays.

TwistedMesses also make crazy coils builds tutorials, like the staggered clapton...

You can buy some premade clapton coils, most advanced ecig shops seem to stock them lately.

i've found the 'zipper' coil really good aswell, it's much easier to make, just needs a decent dripper with large post bores. i had to drill out my tugboat to make it work.

Fuck me, I'm obviously stuck in the stone age... Well it's not like I haven't got loads of guitar strings lying around, I think mine's gonna be a Hendrix coil tho'... Eric 'wogs out' Crapton can fuck off...

To be honnest, apart from my drippers, I'm still doing microcoils on most my devices. I tried the zipper coils build but you need a pretty good dripper and I only have cheapo clones.

I like claptons but I have only done 3 or 4.

And since I've had my Mini SX M, I only do simple coils but they last much longer being temperature controlled and all...

Was just refilling at my desk in work, squeezing the bottle as I usually do, when the top pops off spewing half a 30ml bottle of liquid over me, my desk phone, my mobile, my keyboard, my monitor, the partition and the stack of paperwork. Balls.

I've been having a bit of a problem with dry hits recently, couldn't figure out why... Turns out the last batch of juice I mixed was a little too thick, watered it down a tiny but and it's fabulous now... Also mixed my first 500ml batch of 0% nicotine juice last night, looking forward to trying it out...
