Giro LX Republics. Nice and stiff. Good looking pair of casual shoes from nice and supple leather.
Proper laces and did get a set of black walking pads to go with them as I quite don't fancy the gum colored ones. Also added life with replacement pads will probably be appreciated later on so won't bin the gum colored.
no hot spots with lacing and the rubber band helps with keeping them in tact.
scratch pretty easy but i imagine that with usage they become more to my liking aesthetically. tried the quod pham tourers, the last in these is slightly wider but snug enough and these won't probably need to stretch as much to be possibly deformed(as i've seen happen with some tourers) and also the hardened toe area will not be revealing toe lines as can happen with the tourers. true to size i think. 272mm/EUR44, I have quite narrow feet but these would accommodate at least a thicker socks size more in wideness.
also splendid to walk in, she-mano cleat not making any noise. looking forward to cycling with these.
(not my pic)
