Same with track I guess. Also the races are so short that you don't really need that sustained power, so I haven't worried about ftp at all this year really. All the training I've been doing are over/under sessions, 30s sprints and rev outs. Oh and lifting things off the floor in the gym.
My 20min and hour power were much better last year when I was training for TT's too - meant I got really good at riding devils from the front, but I just couldn't hang on in the last couple of laps of a longer scratch when people ramped the pace up.
