• The plan is quite a short one (8 weeks), so is really more of a block of build in reality. The IF of the sessions does increase slightly, as does the duration of the efforts week on week.

    I could re test after the easy fourth week I suppose, as I should be fresher.

  • If the plan is 8 weeks I wouldn't re-test.

    If you're coming into it quite unfit I suppose you're going to improve a lot, making the ftp figure a little easy to hit. Just try and ride at the top end etc to compensate.

    You could test at the start of the fifth week.
