Basically the same prices as buying in bulk online

I've looked into buying it online, but oddly everyone seems to be selling it at £60 / case, which is £2.50 a can. Not sure what my corner store is doing.

For this particular beer, maybe. But they are also at your house, not at a shop.

£2.35 but out of stock at the momentBottleDog do them. Not sure what they work out to with my discount though but you've got the 'going to shop, carrying them back' problem.

Bottle apostle have a discount for quantities above 12. Bought a case of gamma ray and I think it came to £48
Had a brewdog hello my name is little ingrid last night. Not really sure what a cloudberry is but definitely couldn't taste one. Pretty average session ipa.

has the too much ipa debate been had yet
at the jolly butchers on weds ( easts isn't dead ) and asked for a pint of bitter, they actually didn't have one available, it was just a line of hand pumps delivering pale ales of various flavours and strengths -

Does my nut in. My local which is supposedly a 'proper beer' pub has 5 pumps of guest ales, each one changed weekly. Every week it's 5 IPAs or 4 IPAs and a light summer ale. All of which taste like potporri blended into pickle juice. You'll be lucky to get 2 bitters and 1 porter/stout out of every 40 ales that come through the place. Angers me no end.

That because it's basically summer and all the breweries are producing their summer beers and all the pubs are buying their summer beers. Only freaks that inhabit this thread are drinking stouts.

the local off license had a shipment of the spanish brewed 5.4% stuff in recently
got 2 crates worth -

Bloody hell, that stuff is rare these days. The 1.5L bottles used to be Spanish import, and were the 4.5% table version. Lovely stuff. Tastes nothing like the British pisswater.

Tyskie, Zywiec, Lech for bulk piss drinking. Maybe Kronenbourg if nothing else available. Estrella too sometimes.

For lager, I tend to stick with German or Czech. Bitburger and Pilsner Urquell are great.

Nah, it's the same year round. If local breweries don't have any, they'll import it. At winter the only change is they'll have a token novelty Christmas beer, sickly like mulled wine.

Buy online, in bulk, then it's in your fridge. THEN you start drinking a lot..
