28.6-34.9 swaged 853, AKA Colorado Concept Tubing. These are seat tubes, happened upon a box of 5 NOS ones, which given that they are NLA I purchased.
Might do a (very!) limited number of frames with them, and probably keep at least two for repairing CSi's, Atlanta's etc.
What makes it so much better than commonly available seat tube tubing?
scarcity.
They're going larger at the BB which makes it stiffer.
