FTP is massively relavent to climbing. You cant out race tactic gravity.
If you only have a 6min climb handy. Smash it at 115%, then 90%, then 115% etc....
The supra threshold for gains, and the sweetspot for practicing the actual pace you'll be climbing.
Thats what I did before hitting the alps. Seemed to help.
