  • Hard to say. I personally wouldn't want to go much beyond £600-700 fir a second hand frame, but they sell for a lot more than that new.

  • Depends how much you want it! They sell for a wide range of prices on ebay. I saw one go for 200 quid last month, although it was in croatia I think. Theres one on ebay now asking for 1500 which nobody has bought in long time. How much is the seller asking for?

  • This is about £1200, and I'm not sure how lower he's willing to go...
The receipt shows he paid €4000 for it in december 2012, so I guess he won't let it go for peanuts :(

£200 is what a C-stem goes for! That must have been stolen or something wrong with it for sure!

  • I overpaid for my Look (but less than your man is asking for his). It's a little rattier around the edges and didn't come with half the gubbins yours is coming with and I don't regret it at all. A few years down the line you won't care about the extra £x you might or might not have paid, you will instead be busy riding your amazing bike with a massive grin on your face. It's only money.

  • I think the price is a little on the steep end, but Like 6pt says, you are getting a pretty sweet crankset and stem on top of the frameset. I personally would try and get him down to £1k, which is what they normally go for on ebay. But I am a cheapskate, and I would also probably lose patience and buy it for £1200 anyway

  • Ha! no pls :)
I managed to trim the price to £1100 so the deal is almost done.

  • Should this head tube logo be under the lacquer?

  • yeas, and it should be straight too (photo distortion, or askew..?)

    damaged/respray?

  • My KG121 headtube logo is over the top of the lacquer.

  • hmm, mine 231 is all smooth under lacquer..

  • Yes, I thought a bit wonky too..

  • ..you still bought it tho..

  • I did it guys... I will upload some pictures once the frame gets in my hands!

  • Not paid or collected yet, so could still reject if not as described. Nice one @Breso !

  • Spotted a gorgeous kg233 at new cross ce soir being slained across the end of shardeloes road by cool dad and small kid.

  • So my KG 186 now for sale, anyway figured I,d post it here to say goodbye to it.

    And tonight in the classifieds

  • Spamming again...

I'm seriously considering converting all my bikes to Looks as this one is so great to ride. That only means I need a fixie skidder and a carbon track bike to replace the other two, but those prices...

  • If you can live without the crabon on the track, the AL464P is lovely.

  • Am Look. Despite decal reservations I was convinced by the seller's patter. Delighted with it, excellent condition, rims look unused.

  • 596 track in the classifieds for 1700...

  • I definitely want Crabon on the track. I'm sure you've got a great argument as to why it's not essential, but I don't think I'd race anything other than carbon after my DF3. Maybe I should do all carbon bikes?

  • Lookily (icwotudidthere.jpg) that is too big and too ugly for me to consider. If it was a smaller 496, then we'd be talking.

  • double post

  • totally agree 496 is the better looking bike, i missed out on one in my size with two wheel sets 2 weeks back, guttted
