Depends how much you want it! They sell for a wide range of prices on ebay. I saw one go for 200 quid last month, although it was in croatia I think. Theres one on ebay now asking for 1500 which nobody has bought in long time. How much is the seller asking for?

This is about £1200, and I'm not sure how lower he's willing to go...
The receipt shows he paid €4000 for it in december 2012, so I guess he won't let it go for peanuts :(£200 is what a C-stem goes for! That must have been stolen or something wrong with it for sure!

I overpaid for my Look (but less than your man is asking for his). It's a little rattier around the edges and didn't come with half the gubbins yours is coming with and I don't regret it at all. A few years down the line you won't care about the extra £x you might or might not have paid, you will instead be busy riding your amazing bike with a massive grin on your face. It's only money.

I think the price is a little on the steep end, but Like 6pt says, you are getting a pretty sweet crankset and stem on top of the frameset. I personally would try and get him down to £1k, which is what they normally go for on ebay. But I am a cheapskate, and I would also probably lose patience and buy it for £1200 anyway

I managed to trim the price to £1100 so the deal is almost done. -

Spamming again...
I'm seriously considering converting all my bikes to Looks as this one is so great to ride. That only means I need a fixie skidder and a carbon track bike to replace the other two, but those prices...

If you can live without the crabon on the track, the AL464P is lovely.

Am Look. Despite decal reservations I was convinced by the seller's patter. Delighted with it, excellent condition, rims look unused.

596 track in the classifieds for 1700...

I definitely want Crabon on the track. I'm sure you've got a great argument as to why it's not essential, but I don't think I'd race anything other than carbon after my DF3. Maybe I should do all carbon bikes?

Lookily (icwotudidthere.jpg) that is too big and too ugly for me to consider. If it was a smaller 496, then we'd be talking.

totally agree 496 is the better looking bike, i missed out on one in my size with two wheel sets 2 weeks back, guttted
Hard to say. I personally wouldn't want to go much beyond £600-700 fir a second hand frame, but they sell for a lot more than that new.
