Yeah my bad, thought the suggested bar was the Woodchipper.
Cowchipper makes me want to switch back to drops...

My Straggler is now in fun mode for the summer.
I removed the mudguards, rack and panniers and put on some WTB Nano tyres. I plan on trying a small saddlebag to replace the rack and panniers until I actually need that kinda luggage capability.

Has anyone had a look at rose cyclecross? Looks like it would make a good light tourer/commuter!
with custom gear ratios from rose, set up with 50/34 11-32 sounds perfect. Hydro ultegra groupset for £1350. Bargain??http://www.rosebikes.co.uk/bike/rose-pro-dx-cross-3000-hydraulic/aid:770985

Oh, and the little clips that hold the cables to the frame, so no need to use cable ties.

Nice bike. Cowbells are ace, since putting them on my Straggler I'm seriously considering putting some narrower ones on my proper road bike.

Woodchippers yes, the new bar linked on the other hand... Side on looks the same, normal hood profile etc. it's just wider at the ends. May require an extra spacer or two due if you've got short arms, but unlikely to need as much as the Woodchipper...
