but welcome vivian vivalo. plan is switch da 7710 from the gazelle and switch out (crashed) forks for some soma the rat threadless with bastardised 7410 headset to upset the purists.

as said in the ad it is crashed, and unfortunately there is indeed a ripple under the downtube. but ill just ride it for now.

frame's a peach. full chromed underneath, cherry rainbow sparkle, very nice details.. bit worried about the fit though because the seattube is steep as but lets see how it feels when effin' built. could always get a layback...

Mine still feels strange, angles are steeper than anything I've ridden in a while.
Rourke was similar, but I almost don't remember how did it feel to ride.

I am loving mine.

It's really nice to ride a bike with an incredibly short wheelbase, which made riding in traffic a bundle of fun.

Seat tube is really steep, just took out the spirit level and my saddle sit perfectly on the middle of the 25mm setback clamp (pictured a little too far back), meaning I can get that Nitto setback post to get it all matchy matchy.

Bear in mind, I now got two custom frame that fit perfectly, 60cm ST and 54cm TT, so the amount of saddle showing look spot on on those bicycles.
On that Presto however it doesn't look right because of the extra seatpost showing, I'd have gone for a 58cm frame but they weren't cheap and a little too long by a couple cm.

Still it doesn't matter, as it's a cracking little bike for general tomfoolery.

Wheels are not ordered yet as I haven't made up my mind on what I want exactly.

i went for grey TB14 with chrome low flange Phil Woods, and 3x, grey look decent with gum or normal.

I've not made up my mind on hubs yet. Would like Royce, LF Mack, DA 7710 or LF Dia Compe in that order of preference. TB14 or Archetype are likely choices for rims.

On that Presto however it doesn't look right because of the extra seatpost showing

NJS frames being too small is just part of the fun (he says with an NJS frame that fits spot on)

Hope it's not to damaged and you could build it into a fun ride.

I've missed out on sparkles, but got a pearl finish and it also appears to be fully chromed.

I now realised why, I put my Nitto classic drop bar on it and instantly it felt right.

It also felt a lots less twitchly due to the geometry but still nimble due to very short wheelbase.

Gonna drill the fork and make it into a proper track roadie.

I rule it down to never ridden with a sweep back handlebar since the Apocalypse.

Whats the paper bit mean on the seat tube again? where it get stamped. Mine doesn't have one and I feel left out :-(

Looks much better fit this way, can't wait to put drops on mine. Even risers feel weird to me, sweep back ones must bring everything even closer.
Also considering a front brake in a future, but will look out for carbon fork.

I've found a pair of Bontrager Speed Limit brakes in our part bin, the great thing about them is the very short reach allowing I to drill the fork and not worry about having a short enough drop.

It's amazingly light, I think it's like 140g for a single one.

Need to removed the logos so it'll look pretty neat (single pivot).

Looking at the rest of your build, considering new wheels, somehow I feel it deserves nicer cranks.
Just personal though, it's your bike, please do what you think is best.

It's quite likely I'm using the TB14/Phil Woods on the Tokyo Fixed Dream Machine, right now the Presto have cheapo part (bar the obvious Nittos), and I'm quite happy with it so far.

Reckon I'll do the crankset when I can afford to, silver Sugino 75 with black AArd ring.
