Plustek not compatible with Vuescan, really?
Could have sworn the last time I searched I did not find a functioning VueScan download;
just checked again what Plustek scanner excactly is the one I have here (labeled QUATO) - supposedly the "Optic Film 8200i" - for which there indeed is a download!Just had a quick go with it; seems to work.
Realized quickly though: there's no ICE / iSRD support - and: a full version that doesn't do massive watermarks isn't actually cheap!

Would be glad if it works for you - many swear by Vuescan. I for one had only troubles with it (couldn't even set up my KM) and with SF (even just installing it wrecked my PC and after I deleted it had to re-install several pieces software anew). That's the reason I'm using only the native KM software, and I even run an obsolete OS to permit it to function smoothly.

I'm permanently interested in others' experience with scanners since mines are second hand and could give up the ghost any time, and AFAIK no one service them.
