Plustek not compatible with Vuescan, really?
I'm permanently interested in others' experience with scanners since mines are second hand and could give up the ghost any time, and AFAIK no one service them.

Could have sworn the last time I searched I did not find a functioning VueScan download;
just checked again what Plustek scanner excactly is the one I have here (labeled QUATO) - supposedly the "Optic Film 8200i" - for which there indeed is a download!Just had a quick go with it; seems to work.
Realized quickly though: there's no ICE / iSRD support - and: a full version that doesn't do massive watermarks isn't actually cheap!

@Ghibli - I use a QUATO "Intelli Scan 5000" (also sold under the name "Plustek").
It came with Silverfast Ai, and as far as I know it's the only software I can use this with (VueScan for example being not compatible / lacking drivers etc.)
