I think only just really worked out how to scan properly, I used to be a master on the nikon coolscan V 's but last year they got rid of them at uni and replaced with a couple of them tower 'star trek' scanners (not allowed to use them yet apparently) and some meh flat bed scanners. Flatbeds are very good for the 120 etc. but are shite for 35mm, really cant get them to scan like the coolscans, no grain and lack of detail plus they always seem to sit curly :-(
