Just won this on ebay. It's going to be my rat frame for going to work on and daily riding. Any ideas on making the frame look more ratty? Is it ok to strip some paint off and jusy lacquer it so it doesn't rust Or do I just need to ride it?

if it's for daily riding, lots of unlocking and locking up, then it will get ratty soon enough

Stripping your lock down to the bare metal usually does some ratty damage over time, bit unnecessary though.

Id imagine using a bare chain lock would work well.
Putting your feet on the down tube when going down hills would work, especially with cleats. -

"Look more ratty" or actually be more ratty?
The patina that comes with use takes time, wear, and probably an oily rag.

Get a big hammer and dent/bend all the tubes...

Also works well for adding patina to your face and teeth

You could rattlecan it with some cheap paint that'll easily flake. Fast and easy.

Stick some stickers on the frame

Then apply sand paper on the stickers

Might just set the frame on fire
