Yes. Mine gets through a battery a day, which I can push out to 4-5 days by taking the NDS crank off the bike and leaving it in the airing cupboard for a week or so. It's cheap, and it's easy to fit, but it's pretty easy to sellotape a slim matchbox to the side of your crank, and for most purposes that'll be about as functional as a Stages power meter. It'll be lighter too.
Actually I'm contemplating Stages (5800 when it arrives) because;
a/ it's cheap
b/ it's easy to fit
I'm after a PM that's reliable and easy to live with. TrainingPeaks has slowly sucked me in over the last couple of years using HRTSS plus I'd like some data on 25m TTs.
Is battery life dreadful? Coin cells are a PITA.
