Genuine question, but if that were true, then why isn't everyone riding at lower cadences if its easier to hold higher power outputs?
Optimum cadence is hugely individual and there's loads of factors that affect it. Optimum cadence for max power for a flying 200 isn't the same as a 100mile TT.
