  • Genuine question, but if that were true, then why isn't everyone riding at lower cadences if its easier to hold higher power outputs?

  • Depends on the situation. TT or turbo - no issue. Road race - try jumping when there's an attack while pushing 60rpm - it doesn't work.

  • Optimum cadence is hugely individual and there's loads of factors that affect it. Optimum cadence for max power for a flying 200 isn't the same as a 100mile TT.
