I did! I wondered if it might be something like that but didn't know how to check. Ta.

It's nice to be nice but many employers are not nice and in some jobs it isn't a good idea.
All depends on the circumstances really. Maybe give some extra notice but not now?

Anyone worked out if you can fit mudguards to one of these?
-

From Evans own website
The 2015 Arkose bikes all have mounts for guards front and rear. The fork has 2x M5 eyelets on the leg and 1 under the crown.

Brake levers for swept back style bars with road diameter?

Yes.

Sweet. I see a winter bike being planned.

Any suggestions for a front rack with shorter stays so it will sit tight down to a 26" wheel? I'm currently using a Jim Blackburn, but when I seriously loaded it up the other day the handling was all over the place because (I think) the load was too high and too far forwards.

I need to replace the hub body on my back wheel;
Miche RX5 with Campagnolo Veloce geary bits. Do I shop for a part compatible with the hub or the groupset or both?

ASOS do mens harringtons with a plain liner, so you get the silhouette without the garish tartan. They also do them with a fold-down collar for an unusual take on the style.
If you want max style points check out John Simmons in Marylebone who do their own version. Grab a cotton shirt in there while you're at it: http://www.johnsimons.co.uk/john-simons-apparel-company-harrington-navy/

Yes, I've told mine I will be leaving on X date, there by inadvertently giving them notice.
I also told, not ask and "will be leaving" not "planning on leaving", so there's no room for negotiation, if you want it that way.Your normal employment contract typically states the minimum notice period, so giving over minimum is fine.
But I would tend to hold off, if any shit was to happen with the future role. Always have a plan B if there is risk.

If a crown race for a 1" threaded just drops onto the fork it's too large huh? Thought it was ISO standard but it appears the fork steerer base diameter is too small. every other part works as intended i.e. cups into frame etc. New headset or are there any tricks?
-
• #68689
Measure everything. With a bit of luck, you've got a seat diameter of 26.5mm but have accidentally ended up with a JIS 27.0mm crown race. Depending on the headset, you may be able to get a 26.4mm crown race as a spare part.

Cool, will do. Maybe it is that, the rest of the frame is all standard so far. Will go visit the LBS tomorrow. Good excuse to finally buy some vernier calipers then.
Actually, just realised the frame used to have a campag headset in there, likely to be Italian 26.5 or 27 crown race dia?
-
• #68691
Campag would be 26.4 crown race, so 26.5 seat area on the steerer (the difference is to make it an interference fit)
