  • Don't forget to wipe, @dicki

  • So that's what Bill Bailey would look like with a hair cut.

  • Someone do something clever with the "carrot land" picture on his Twitter feed and the cockflection in his scales?

  • Ah, so that's why he's so angry.

  • Bowl of All-Bran this morning eh?

  • It looks totally SFW, given its size.

  • Abusing an angry little mans Cock size on a Public forum.

    Very classy...

    .......I LOL'd to be fair.

  • Crikey, somebody on the LCEF facebook group posted a link to an article about his house: http://www.theresident.co.uk/homes-interiors/modern-real-home-richmond/

I guess it's true what they say about rich people generally being rude bastards.

    http://www.news.com.au/finance/money/researchers-discover-that-money-makes-people-nasty/story-e6frfmci-1226803197438

"They even tested hundreds of vehicles and found that drivers of expensive cars were more inclined to break the law, failing to stop at a pedestrian crossing when there was someone waiting to cross.

Nearly 50 per cent of drivers of expensive range cars cut off pedestrians, while none of the drivers of the least expensive cars did. As the price of the car increased, the driver's tendencies to break the law increased too."

  • ‘Monday night in our house is champagne night,’ he says, ‘I do the cooking; we’ll crack open a bottle of champers and the kids are in charge of the music on Sonos.'

    C.U.N.T

  • S'a nice house, that. Clearly being a rude cunt earns you lots of monies.

  • i bet he voted conservative

  • Those are some clever scales though that display one's cock size (in mm).

  • 75mm? That's a bit generous.

  • Last time I cycled down Priory Lane I had someone shout at me that I should be in the cycle lane (which is apparently what this is about). It's just fucking stupid because:

    1. Cyclists aren't obliged to use the cycle lane if they don't want to
    2. The cycle lane is shit and cedes priority to every road joining Priory lane from the West
    3. I was doing at least 20mph
    4. The lights at the North end of Priory Lane mean that you're pretty much inevitably going to have to stop once you get there anyway

Since it seems to be a regular point of conflict, a bit of guerilla signage ("Cyclists are entitled to use the road") might be useful.

  • it might have been dopey bollox himself
    early spot ?

Better yet would be to make Priory Lane access-only for motor vehicles. Why the fuck should Johnny 4x4 be entitled to drive his fume-spewing wagon through a deer park in the first place? If drivers weren't allowed to use it as a through route something like 99% of these conflicts wouldn't happen anymore.

  • Looks like it's already seen its fair share of abuse

  • If drivers weren't allowed to use it as a through route something like 99% of these conflicts wouldn't happen anymore.

Much as I'd love to make Richmond Park (or roads like Priory Lane) a no through route it would just simply push the traffic and conflict elsewhere and not really solve anything.

The time to make Richmond Park a no through route was about 40 years ago.

  • it would just simply push the traffic and conflict elsewhere

Where though? Onto the big old A roads that surround it? Where there's more usable road space because they've been designed to carry high levels of traffic?

That's the problem (and why people use Richmond Park as a through route between Putney/Roehampton/Richmond/Ham/Kingston). The roads that go around it (A305/A307 or A3/A308) are at capacity during peak times, most of them are just single lane roads with narrow sections where there's plenty of conflict already and there's little or no space to widen them to cope with the extra traffic.

Sure, from a purely cyclist centric point of view then making it a no through route would be great, but it's going to cause havoc for everyone else in the area and I'm not anti-driving enough to think "diddums" about that.

  • at capacity during peak times

If only something could be done in London to relieve this pressure on the transport system. Encouragement of alternative transport modes, perhaps, like in many other European cities.

    Pipe dream, I know.

  • If the A roads are at capacity the traffic cannot go elsewhere. It would just go.
