Sub £100 track frames all day long in the classifieds was nice...
Could still find 1/8th Cyclotourist chainrings in all sizes. I had a serious TA stash before the end times.
Hhsb was very different too -

Expensive rare stuff has always been expensive but nice usable Italian and british track frames used to change hands on here for very little and could get great deals at hh jumble etc. Sure the deals are still there but everything for sale seems way too spendy now.
Will stop derailing Ed's thread now. -

Nice colnago is nice.
Th world sounds like a real nice place before it all happened
-
• #41
It is.
Have to pay £90 custom charge, should be here Tuesday and finish on weds
-
• #42
£90?? did you ask them to mark it down at all? my njs was around £40-50, I honestly think they make it up sometimes
-
• #43
2007 is calling you say?
-
• #44
What size is it? Looks big for NJS
-
• #45
Y'know, that got me thinking, there's a reason why I'm looking forward to this; comfort.
Right now I know exactly what I need to do to make the bike comfortable, a simple selection of the correct stem length and saddle with the right set back make a world of a difference compare to what I used to ride in 2007.

A Sugino 75 cost as much as a modern day Sugino RD.
Haven't prices come back down a bit now though? Or at least, not risen along with everything else so much?
