Funky compared with what? Miche rear track hub threads are M10×1.0, so you can use a lock nut off any old Shimano rear hub. @Stonehedge I haz loads of Novatec ones in my parts bin if you don't have any luck finding anything closer to home.

Anywhere south have a 31.8mm cable stop clamp?

This. I used some random locknut in my toolbox when I split one on my Miche Primato wheelset.

Thanks @mdcc_tester
I've tried my LBS and Condor with no luck. I'm heading Kent way on my road bike tomorrow so I will ask in a few shops around there and if I have no luck I'll drop you a line and see if we can strike a deal.
I chucked some knackered Novatechs in the bin about a year ago. I knew I should have stripped them!

I don't really JS, but there's some inconsistency in your application of semicolons there
-
• #68534
They're single functions, so if you put a semicolon in, it messes them up.
I'm being told that I have two unexpected end of inputs.1 on line 1, which doesn't make any sense as that should just be ignored, and one at line 78, suggesting I haven't or have over-used {} which I've gone through the whole thing a bunch of times trying to hunt. -
• #68535
missing a closing } for the function success isnt it?
-
• #68536
missing } on line 47
-
• #68537
missing ; on lines 38, 45, 77
-
• #68538
The space between $ and ( on lines 37 and 38 looks wrong, I'm not sure if it actually makes any difference though.
-
• #68539
It was the one on 77 that fixed it. Thank you all!

So the Profile would get increasingly rounded?
Hm.
So whats the maximum width you'd recommend on that rim? I'd like to soften things up a bit. -

Has anyone got any ideas for doing an 11 speed retro downtube shifter setup?
with the ratios so close, I would much prefer indexed instead of going down the whole friction route with a 10 speed.
-
• #68543
Yeah, sort of mushroom shape if you did a cross section, you have to run higher pressures too avoid squirm in the corners, defeating the purpose of going higher volume.
I assume a 2.2/2.3 would work on the 23mm rims. I ran fairly skinny 2.3s on 19mm and am still alive.
-
• #68544
thx, I was looking at that too... Di2 is possible but way too excessive
-
• #68545
Just put the 11spd bar end shifter on the downtube, work extremely well.
-
• #68546
Can you mix and match brands when it comes to downtube shifters and rear dereallieurs. ie, can I run a shimano friction lever with a campagnolo 8spd rear derailleur
-
• #68547
Friction = run all the thing.
-
• #68548
I thought so. Thanks
-
• #68549
ok I presume that ill need you get some tube packers to stop them wobbling
-
• #68550
Are tube packers like fudge packers?
Read people say they've mounted them on Flow EX (29.1 ext 25 .5 int), not sure I'd go to 23. Experiments with them on Blunt/P35 led me to decide the profile was "ok but not perfect" compared to seeing them on a 45-50mm rim.
