Any tips for breaking in shoes? I have a couple of pairs of office work shoes (one Barker Blake, one Loake 209) which are fine to start with but leave a few painful raw areas after a day of wearing. Is it worth persevering, any way to cut down on the pain whilst persevering?
I bring them into the office with shoe trees and just wear them when I'm sat at my desk for a week or two. I don't wear them to walk in any further than up or down a flight of stairs.
This is the best technique, I've not had a pair of shoes hurt since doing this.
