  • Would it have been better if they just let the top three teams go up?

Also, wouldn't it be good to have relegation play offs between numbers 15 to 18? 6 games to be played and the team with the lowest points total goes down.

  • Obv wouldn't be great for Villa after recent seasons, but I would love to see playoffs for a 4th relegation spot - that would keep it really fucking tense in mid table for the run in.

  • Bottom 3 relegated, top 2 and playoff winner promoted, playoff runner up and 4th bottom play to decide who plays in the Premier League.

Boro vs Villa for a place in the Prem, I'd watch it.

  • Didn't it used to be like that?

  • summary of the last 50 years of 1st division football

  • I'm guessing that boro were 21st

  • I'd hope we'd have turned up against Burnley if that had been at stake. But yes - would watch.

  • Anyway, everyone knows football only started in 1992.

  • Blimey - thought Leeds fall was bad, but Cov >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

    Dearie me.

  • "Boro, better than Sheff Wed.".

    I'll take that

  • Even after 15 years outside the top flight we're still ahead of Derby.

  • But currently performing much worse comparatively.

  • History > Present day

  • Recent History > Ancient History

  • The promise of next season > the reality of this season

  • Cracking stuff. When's the open top bus parade?

  • Swiss police have just raided the FIFA congress and arrested several execs for deportation to the USA. Sepp Blatter not included.

  • Seems to be most of CONCACAF being arrested including the VP of FIFA who replaced Jack Warner.

  • Such good news!

  • Will it change anything?

  • yes! finally! I hope all worms will be freed from their cans.

FBI's been investigating this for 3 years they say?!

  • They'll still re-elect Blatter.

It's insane that they can continue to operate as they do.

The trouble is even if those two world cups were won, due to bribes, which seems entirely possible, there would be such huge lawsuits if they cancelled them now, that I can't imagine even a new "clean" executive could do anything about it.

  • I really hope they give amnesty to those they've arrested in return for taking Blatter down.
