Do you think they're planning on filling that crater just past the lights & pedestrian crossing going south after Buckingham Palace Road toward Victoria?! It's giant! Anybody had any interaction with it?!

So commuted back from t'pub this evening. Many times i pretend my theme song of shoot to thrill is playing. However as I passed the local kiddies park I had a different soundtrack as some lady was being screwed mercilessly, however according to the directors commentary not hard enough, at a volume setting of 11.
8/10 commute score as I would offer constructive criticism again.

Upper Thames Street and the surrounding area was a joy this morning, what with them ripping up the roads.
Running out of routes to avoid road works.
6/10

London is mental. I want my countryside commute back.
And there's obviously a reduction of normal traffic as is half term... -

Me too.
Need to move out of London.

Same. And a sore bits on my arse, can't get my road bike saddle position quite right which then makes for a pained ride when wearing jeans on the commuter.

Guys didn't know quite where to put this link so feel free to move it to the right bit of the forum. Turns out r4 is asking if your life has ever been put at risk by a cyclist. Didn't know if anyone was bored and fancied offering the cyclists side. I'm at work and can't get away with calling in unfortunately.

You could move out to the countryside, but presumably you'd still have to ride in London once you get here....

more dogwhistle bullshit. i'm often tempted to call in to these sorts of shows (lbc has one a day on the topic of cycling) but i'd just end up calling everyone a cunt and not really helping much.
i am fast falling out of love with the bbc.

Better than riding in London generally, somewhere in Surbiton would be apt.

Got a mate who lives in Surbs, works in Exmouth mkt - that's a rather hardman 50+km a day. He does take the train a couple of days a week and Bromptons in from Waterloo though.
As a freelancer, i don't know where i'm working day to day so moving further out could bite me in the bum. I'd love to live in one of the villages in the Shoreham/Orpington/Sevenoaks bit though, even if they are a bit Daily Mail Torygraph UKIPish. So pretty, and good trains in. Maybe one day.. need to work on a profitable side project to get work done from home more.

I used to do between 40-60km a day, never trains.
Surbiton = through Richmond Park which will be nice.

Yeah, it's ace - went for a ride after work with him the other week to the park and it's not an awful route, Kings Road aside. Embankment is pretty ok.
Biggest problem with that length commute is if you do big weekend miles I think - my monday commute would be hell if it were that long. -

Do something about it, takes 2min to report potholes:

2k commute along the water front here in Oz, bit chilly this morning at only 18°c but we must soldier on... Winter (pffff) is coming...
1Hr 17Min 02Secs.
Light headwind. Not too busy, sun came out mid ride... leading to this mornings commute expressed as an ace late 60's Violin-led band =
