I'm so confused about your bikes atm. Why is the derosa taking so long to build?
How are you building that dale? I'd the somec going? -

n+1 :)
srsly though, Somec & De Rosa - posh bros, Surly - all weather tank & commuting. Don't wanna sell the Somec, it's my favourite of all, the fastest, and a joy to ride now I've dialled in the stem/seatpost.
De Rosa is taking long to build primarily due to me not selling the 32h Omega Vs and also not finding 36h Omega Vs. Holiday period slowed it all down...no rush, wanna do it justice.
Plum and Goldsprint will probably be stored for now... not enjoying the Goldsprint as much as I expected to be honest, something to do with the front end setup, but not sure.
I must admit, I don't really need the 'dale, but you know me when a 66cm frame comes up for sale ;) I'm sure it will be fun to ride though!

Nice, french postal rack? Needs a rear brake though. I wouldnt want to be jamming on the front one with a heavy load

Slow-ish, but I now have the following:
Cinelli Giro D'Italia (reissue) bars
Cinelli 1A Stem
Campagnolo Centaur cranks
Campagnolo Veloce 9 speed shifters
Campagnolo Veloce brakes
Campagnolo Daytona rear derailleur (10 speed though)
Campagnolo headset
Campagnolo bottom bracket
And the frame. I hope to pull that apart this weekend and get it stripped back to raw. I'm going to keep the forks black. I also found some repro 2.8 decals on eBay.
Not sure what I'm going to do about the wheels. I have my old CX wheels, but they're a SRAM / Shimano free hub, not Campy. Have read that I might be able to run a 9 speed Shimano cassette with Campy shifters, but I'm not sure what model / era works.
I'll start a new thread soon.
