Looks good. Raltec for the rear wheel and a decent front wheel and you're sorted.

Yeah, picked it up like this. Will put some Force cranks, merchs and brakes on it and save some money for nice wheels.
-
• #101929
Save your money and leave the current groupset on there? Not really going to be any faster, and no realy benefit to newer stuff on TT bikes, it all shifts the same.

I've got the Force group already. Will sell these Campagnolo parts to help fund for wheels, rear merch is Record Titanium, so if anyone is interested hehe.

10 spd? I need one but really cba to pay Campag prices.

Nice!! what you doing with the old wheels? ;)

This is almost perfect!(I would probably change the stem). The tyres look good and in accordance with the yellow of the frame.

Just finished this Van Herwerden conversion for a 'customer'.
Campa Chorus cranks, bb, hs, sp, Cinelli cockpit, MKS pedals and Araya CT-19N hoops.
Yes, that's a kickback coaster brake at the rear. I couldn't change his mind.

This looks great! Like the gumwalls a lot.
Agree with @Francium87 maybe new stem otherwise near perfect

Why not, they're a great and reliable system, shame you couldn't convinced him that it's illegal to ride without a front brake.

Cheers all. What stem would you change to? Its a ritchey classic to go with the bars. for some reason all black didn't seem to work. Ultimately I'd like a silver -17º stem but cant find a reasonable one.

Thomson x2? Could raw a zipp one if you had the time/could be bothered

@Björn is in the Netherlands, where just a coaster brake is acceptable.
they're a great and reliable system
So reliable that you only need the coaster in the Netherlands, but if you have rim brakes only you have to have separate ones on each wheel.

It's not on our side of the pond. Probably half of the bikes here come with a kickback brake. My issue is that those bikes probably never go above 15kph.
Problem was that a Velosteel was the only 32h hub I could find and they don't have the best reputation. SA had one in their catalog for '14/'15, but it hasn't or never will come out.

Lovely wheels, look spot on. Re stem, I think either black stem or silver seatpost... Black stem would maybe look a bit more HHS, and silver seatpost a bit classier... Either would look more balanced though.
-
• #101949
For me the silver stem looks perfect, but now I am really going to stop advocating your bike :)

Keep the gumwalls. That's such a sweet ride
Entering the game of Time Trial, at least I will look fast.
