Sounds like Porte is considering quitting the race. Can't say I blame him.
-
• #3303
And so to the mountains! Hope it's quiet at work this afternoon

I read that too, not sure how much of it is words being put in his mouth. If I was Dave Brailsford and my price pony decided to quit because he wasn't getting things exactly how he wanted, especially after all that special treatment, I would be fuming.

Eh? If he's injured that's one thing but if it's because you don't know the rules and think that the Giro's the ideal place for an aussi-reach-around-that's another. Froome's illegal feed in the Tour springs to mind-sending Porte to the car to avoid the penalty himself-these guys know what they can't do but he thought he'd take the chance that they wouldn't throw the book at him. Leaving just because you've fucked it comes across as picking up your million pound ball and getting a chauffeur driven limo home.
It's an Italian race and an Italian is one of the main contenders so I'm surprised his motorhome hasn't been serenaded with vespa horns every night too.

Srsly. Enough tennis leg massage. If I'm going to be indoors working all day I want the cycling on.
-
• #3307

-
• #3308
The tennis is running late. It's legit Eurosport.

• #3310
Is it Richies head or legs that have gone?
-
• #3311

The mountain stages are looking very different to last year. Last year there were jerseys from a wide variety of teams and new/young names. I don't remember such controlled stages.

• #3316
Hesjedal dropped?
-
• #3317
Attacking.
-
• #3318
Attacking off the back. Genius move :P
-
• #3319
Ha, yeah, you're right. Bridging. I'm only half-paying attention.
-
• #3320
To be fair, good on him. Showing a lot of character this tour.
-
• #3321
He was on the podium on a similar stage last year.
-
• #3322
Also been in a couple of breakaways (two at least).
Porte 8 minutes back.
-
• #3323
Takes it on the chin, then gets up and keeps fighting.
Porte could learn a thing from him
Except the past doping transgressions, obvs

Did Contador gift that to Landa?

Disappointed Koenig couldn't stay with the leaders but he must be pretty happy to find himself where he is...
Find it hard to find an Astana-Katusha one-two very credible but was an exciting final 5km.
Yeah Kiri - you good lad. A picture I took of him at LBL.
