Got some fiddy mil crabon wheels incoming. Any pad recommendations for carbon braking surface? I think they're standard China clinchers if that makes a difference.

I use Swissstop Flash Pro Black Prince.
They're amazing. -

It happened. I haven't bought any carbon pads because the seller on ebay was very kind and decided to give me his yellow swissstops for free.
No full bike pic yet. Waiting on a blingy black and gold Wippermann 10SB to arrive as while I was changing everything around I found that I was sold a 9 speed chain when I went to my LBS. I didn't check at the time as they fitted it and everything was working fine. It's only when I've been trying to index the gears now I put the cassette on another wheelset and the chain seems to be too wide to sit properly on cogs 5 and 6... :/
Anyway, good excuse to spend more £€$, yeah?

You cock tease!
What happened to no deep crabon? ;)
Looks good mate! Looks like there is a surge of roadie bikes coming out from this forum, hopefully we can have a HHSRB ride!

Ha! I can't remember ever saying no to deep crabz. I think it was mainly the fact that I didn't have any spare dollar for them at the time. Saying that, I need to sell the Cole wheels I had been using now.
They're in amazing condition and retailed at £275 brand new. I've de-stickered them and braked on them over only 200 miles or so, so the anodising is starting to wear, but that is to be expected. Asking for £160...

Pretty happy with this setup. Wippermann chain and 50mm crabon finishing touches.

Looks great with the crabons! Can't help but feel it would look better without gumwalls but that's probably my aversion to gumwalls on all but vintage bikes.

Real nice. Well played

Enough filters for you now mate?
Plus, I didn't need to photoshop stem slammage and seatpost at a decent height on mine!

Oh yeah. Yours is far nicer (especially cockpit area IMO). And as you mentioned, it doesn't require any superficial tinkering.
Defjnetely superspeeded your "benchmark".
And praise the lord you didn't opt for the ergo stem. -

Made it to Japan without getting smashed in transit. I need to get fitter while I'm out here to do the bike justice though.

I like to use all my cogs. I'm still new to this deathtoroadies thing.
Extra p0rn points for having it set up perfectly for me (down to the pedals). Very nice.
