@miro_o , cheers. Don't know if this is a stupid question or not - but how wide can I go? Open Pro rims... 32 seems general internet consensus?

35mm tyres on open pros are ok.

How wide you can go will probably depend on how much tyre clearance the frame gives you (usually at the fork crown, rear brake bridge and chainstays).

Cool, cheers. I ride a frame of exquisite Italian craftsmanship and refinement, with the smallest of clearances, so maybe I'll stick with 28s
