• splashing out to repair a semi permanent badly designed and badly built court over and over is different to wanting a permanent court! where it is doesnt bother me, london is tiny anywhere is accessible!

  • great to hear that you have made an effort to find out what is actually happening at Herne Hill @GranthamMiles before jumping in and having a go. Everything (ie the fruits of alot of hard work and time spent by volunteers) especially the reasoning to patch the court up again has been laid out for people to read on the various threads on the LHBPA subforum. If you dont have access then ask Max and he will give you access. As there was a vote on whether to do this or not and not a single person voted against, it seems that you are in a minority on this one. But thank you for your incredibly helpful, thoughtful and considered input.

  • my personal opinion on this is that you will be surprised in how many kids play at herne hill at Tim sessions, and even when I went down there randomly one evening just by there own omissions. If feel that having a playable court there is nothing but a positive to the future.
