If you put "OS grid [A-Z][A-Z] [000-999] [000-999]" into google and click on the 'Maps' tab, the map will be centred on the OS grid reference

I can't get this to work, for instance I've typed "OS grid [N][G] [611] [526]" (minus the quotation marks) which according to this http://www.mountainbothies.org.uk/bothy-details.asp?bothy_id=27 should give a bothy near Skye. I don't get anything near that. What have I done wrong?

I've got a route book that is giving six figure OS map references. Is there any way to pinpoint these without buying six maps? gridreferencefinder.com seems to put these about 200km west of Cornwall.
