  • Ray Lewis swears by the stuff . It comes from traditional Chinese medicine but studies show it has no proven anabolic properties nor does it raise testosterone , put it in the same category as glandulars in the 90's . I think it's banned because it contains anabolic growth factors including testosterone but in too small quantities to have any bioactivity . It does seem to support bone healing rate but this is not well researched also it may aid skin regeneration rates .

  • I'd not bother with DAA, think it's pretty much been proven to not do diddly.

    As far as I can tell, if you want to boost your testosterone naturally you should: eat more red meat and offal, eat more fats (including saturated fats and especially HDL cholesterol ), supplement with cod liver oil and eat lots of green vegetables. Take a multi-vitamin.

    Everything else is just hype that supplement companies use to get people to part with cash.

    I'm also considering the Vitargo powder as I remember a friend raving about the stuff years ago but back then it was really hard to get .

  • Also, lose weight, lower BF will help increase test. As will making sure you get a decent amount of sleep - 8 hours.
    Slightly annoyingly, your test levels are likely to drop while actually cutting weight though.

    Due to travelling a missed a week of my Juggernaut. As it happens, that week was meant to be the deloading week of my 8 rep segment. Arguably, not training at all could also be said to function as deloading.
    So should I consider my 8 segment finished and crack on with the 5 rep segment, or should I aim to complete the deloading lifts of the 8's before I start the 5's?

  • Deloading is a subjective thing seeing as you've had a week off ( how I deload anyway ) as long as you feel ready to begin the 5's wave there's no reason not too .

  • Regarding that greens powder; how do you use it? Do you just put a scoop in with some protein?

    Probably would be detrimental anyway training with that much sleep deprivation& stress.
