Changing to supple tyres and latex tube will make a difference and is ideal for summer; worth a try before dropping big cash. Back to Marathon Supreme for the winter.

hmm, I might already be doing that. I have Schwalbe Ones on at the moment and tend never to go super heavyweight (conti 4 seasons at most) and deal with punctures as they occur, they are good for the soul :-)

I do need new inner tubes though :-)

What width Schwalbe Ones? I used them and liked them they werent just durable. Defo worth a try with latex tubes. Wheels making you (feel) faster is mostly placebo IME.
