Lack of a gusset makes uniqlo jeans a bit harsh on your bits, imo. And if you've narrow hips they'll sling low and you'll have speed holes in your crotch almost immediately. Lovely cheap jeans for off the bike though.

Was wondering which model he was referring to for cycling, there's tons of variations.

Mainly Sky socks, I'll look for trousers next time. The had a couple of the Deep Winter base layers for £40, fancied one for the sheer hell of it.

Just caught end of hours on way back this week, they had a few pairs of the sky jeans and a couple little boxes of the city riding/merino stripe socks. Didn't have time to look at sizes as they were closing up and I was getting distracted by all the things.

Nabbed a pt ss jersey and some pt thermal bibs. Both of which are indeed very nice, especially when not so pricey.

They stopped doing the legging, but they still have those stretchy trouser, got me some real nice black trouser there.

I've got the Endura Urban shorts that are 4 way stretch DWR fabric and they do a trew version too
