I find quite enjoyable to see them desperate.
BTW, I won't be surprised if this initiative will make them lose a few more votes, some of their readers have complained about it.

As an aside, I'm quite disappointed, as I am every election, that the Great British Public haven't simply trotted down to the polling station nice and early and everyone has got their vote case by lunchtime. I'd dearly love to see the media and politicians get into a blind panic as their faced with 9-10 hours of absolutely nothing happening.

Hahaha, that's true, but showing the enthusiasm of kicking the tories out is even better.

If SNP manage their huge sweep of Scottish seats, can we start referring to Nicola Sturgeon as Warden of the North?
-
• #431
She's North of the wall. Queen-Beyond-the-Wall would be better.

Too busy on the beach drinking pina colada's to vote today. What time will it all be finished and announced? Might try and get up in time

Sometime after you get back to the UK I'd think.

Around 6am when enough results are in to be able to call the outcome.
Assuming the overall outcome is what is expected it'll be at least Monday/Tuesday before there's any idea of what the next Government will actually look like.
May 18th is the first day of Parliament. May 27th the MPs will be voting on the contents of the Queen's Speech.

Being from the dead area between the wall and the border (North-Northumberland) I wear my wildling badge with pride, but I'm scared about the day my mates start referring to my house as Craster's Keep.
Voted bright and early this morning, the girl behind the desk was clueless, she told me to put one form in 'the first box' and the other in 'the second box'. Obviously this is a level of clarity way below the utterly crystal clear level that should be expected so I said something and she ignored it.
Pretty sure I got the right boxes...

been out cycling, who won
-
• #442
Yep, Farage won in a freak landslide. Anyone looking darker or muslimier than David Dickinson has 48 hours to leave the country.

From what I can work out, based on those predictions, Labour is the only party that can possibly form a coalition.
-
• #446
Me too, I'd voted by 7.30 this morning and I'm bored waiting now.
-
• #447
You think you're bored now? Wait until this time next week. After seven days of tedious handwringing and insipid speculation the party leaders will have just about decided who's got the biggest knob. Then begins the blowjob contest among the minor standings to see who gets to do the walk of shame for the next five years.
Finally, at about 8am on May 18th, someone is going to announce a final electoral victory with the sort of manufactured sincere pride that will make you vomit your hip bone into your fairtrade organic gluten free muesli with fucking rice milk.

I'm left thinking I picked a really shit time to stop drinking booze for a month.

Always vote after work, kind of a tradition (also I risk crossing the wrong box before my morning latte and egg and ham truffle pot)

Went to where I thought the polling station was going to, based only on the knowledge it was their last year. Turns out they have moved it so will vote sometime tonight.
If you were a victim of Hackney not getting polling cards as I was:

Bare with it. If you registered they will eventually sort it. The polling officers were very helpful and apologetic, especially so as it wasn't their fault.
