Bushwood is posher, larger houses overlooking the Wanstead flats. Lower Leytonstone is considered not so nice but I can see that changing with Crossrail and the flats shooting up at Stratford. Leyton's getting better too.

Back from Vietnam on Saturday and likelihood is that the Doris will have 3 months gardening leave coming up before the end of the quarter, so looking to kick on with the house stuff.
On Sunday we're going to take a look round Leytonstone - so we don't wander around jet laggedly for all day - @tommmmmmm @rodabod @Crispin_Glover and any others point me in the direction of some nice roads/postcodes?
