• I'm assuming TB is tower bridge.
Done it many times, probably the safest place to be filtering down the center of traffic on tower bridge, as when space gets tight you'll always be squeezed against the kerb, when traffic pulls left to avoid touching ting mirrors.

  • There is not a lot of space to the left or right. To the left there is the kerb and railings and to the right oncoming motorbikes/*cyclists (*rare)/vehicles pulling over into the middle to overtake left filtering cyclists. Probably best to take primary ?

  • That's how I do it, occasionally sneaking up on the left or right if and only if there's enough time and room. Think it's best to accept that TB's a slow crossing and enjoy the view. Us SE people really need a new bridge. That would be ace.

  • if traffic is crawling along, over tower bridge behind a sightseeing bus, then taking primary is the slower option.
Despite a couple of hand gestures and shouts recently, I find most motorcyclists will give and take with filtering space. If there is space on their side they'll pull in a bit to allow you to pass, and I do the same if there's space on my side.
