Update to this, the guy who filmed this actually submitted it to Roadsafe and police have asked him to complete a form 966 to get the guy on the moped prosecuted and he's asked if I want to get involved. Am I a bad person if I have absolutely no desire to potentially take a day off work and spend it in court over a near miss?
If it's a first offence he'll be offered a course. If not he should accept the points. Either way I doubt you will end up in court. Prosecute the twunt.
get him prosecuted he'll probably get driver training instead of prosecution, but hopefully he'll think twice about making a dodge move like that in future..
