Looks like 3rd time lucky and they might do it. It's such an annoying record with the reliance on the wind so vital.

Seems to be in the bag, the gods of tandems permitting. Clearly they picked a perfect day in weather terms.

Still it puts the achievement of Swinden / Withers in perspective though.

50 year old record that some Olympians and some other big name TTers failed to crack. Decent effort. I'm not gonna bother now :)
