  • Get a Steinhart, enjoy...

  • rather more expensive though..

  • @TPR, got this from Creation Watches, not much more than a skx007 at £141, and having had both I prefer this one.

Creation also have the metal strap if you don't like rubber...

  • I've got this Seiko 17 jewel 7025 - 8140 for sale, comes with the Nato strap and original metal strap. Not sure how much to ask £50?

  • What's the button for corny? And why do you prefer that to the skx?

  • button tells you how much energy reserve you have left.

Prefer it as its newer, more robust (though I haven't clobbered it against anything so far) and with my skx I had it serviced by seiko several times and it kept not working, so finally lost faith in it. Am going to buy a new movement for it and get alsal to replace it, as it's on a lovely @Murt13 strap but I'll never wear it full time and or trust it not to fall over and stop working in the future...

  • I really don't get the iwatch and can't really see a reason to have one. It's maybe just a convention thing but they just look wrong. I think the pebble is fine though as it dosn't have the ingrained aspiration and marketing sledgehammer ofthe apple creation. Marc Newson's hand is all over it; the ikepods, especially the older ones, have a similar style but just seem a lot more honest. I'll wait till i can get a wafer thin disk that sticks to the back of my watch and offers all the same diagnostics piped straight to my phone.

  • Ideally I want the Montblanc smartstrap, classic watch up top, business below. Sorted.

  • That looks like it's made to be scratched, broken, buggered...;)

  • Decided against dropping £1300 on a used Speedmaster.
Now considering a solar powered Casio Edifice, but fear the ticking second hand will irk me
    And a new g shock.

  • That's awesome.^^^

  • I tried on a couple of watches today. Tudor Pelagos is still very nice but I'm not a huge fan of the Black Bay

  • just ordered a watch from creation watches (Singapore) posted using DHL express, will I have to pay VAT or import duty when it gets here?
    Thanks

  • Is Singapore outside the EU?

  • haha I hear you , but loads of people buying form creation said they marked down prices and the such to avoid it , was wondering if anyone here had any experience with them

  • Beautiful. Thanks for posting that. I have three vintage Grand Seiko, they really are a bit special.

  • Creation sent both my orders marked as 'measuring instrument' with a low value. I didn't get charged duties on either of them.

  • Great little film...

  • Yeah, thats what I actually ordered, fuckers sent me a Seiko.

  • Casio watches have a second hand that actually hits the markers, spot-on ! You will find it a pleasure, not a problem ;-)

  • My dad had a similar Rolex when I was a kid, what size is that?

  • Price drop, £140 all in...PM's for more info!
