Took delivery of my Look today. Very happy with it!

I've got one and they are pretty nice stems, and the hinged mount is great as you don't have to scratch bars / remove tape. (Wouldn't want to use it with carbon bars though,in case you were thinking about that)

It was similar but didn't have the hinged front. I've lent the stem to a friend but could always find out the model via them if necessary

@LookyLookyman Maybe try bespoke? They sell Look and from what I've heard Look themselves can supply older parts - toptube plastic cable housing bits etc... Worth a shot? I have a kg231 so can send pictures/dims of the bolt in needed...

Which modern groupset would work on one of these, aesthetically?

Was debating vintage vs modern but just realised I can get a pre tax loan from my employer to spend in a bike shop, which makes going for a modern group more appealing.

Most of the builds I've seen have silver components - athena or 105 5800 fall in this category. But happy to consider alternatives. Don't really want to go much above ultegra cost wise though.

Any suggestions from the look experts?

Just to spam another pic of my Look on here. I've got a mix of Sram and FSA on mine. But with that paint, rear triangle and headset you're better off sticking with silver components. Maybe Campag? I'm not sold on the idea of the current 4 arm spider Shimano cranks on anything except modern framesets.

yep Veloflex Master 25s. Think I got em on Wiggle

I'm no look expert, but needs to be a silver group I reckon, silver 5800, with classic stem, bars and post, then modern silver hubs (hope mono rs?) laced to grey tb14's.

That'd be the perfect blend of looking classic but having all the modern performance

Grey won't go with the stays and silver accents on the paint I don't think
