When I get my BMW Gangsta back, it'll be 650b all the way.

Nice as ever Dom.
Just jumping back a bit to Elra's photo of the Gangsta in WBASE - surely we can all agree that that HeavyPedal frame/brand is the worst?
It gives me the foffas. -
• #2783
you should go ahead an get one already
-
• #2785
oh lawdy
well i was going 650b with mine but then i sold it so i think we share the same interest in said frame.

Indeed, if 35mm can fit just about well on the Gangsta, then 650b 42mm most definitely will.
Lighter rims too, another bonus, as well as slightly shorter spokes.

• #2787
post the 50cm geo if you have it pls
-
• #2788
lighter rims and shorter spokes, weight weenie-eing when it comes to a gangsta
:)
40mm col de vie probably fabulous thou

42mm Grand Bois Hetre or those Schwalbe Big Ben in 50mm.
I did managed to get my old Gangsta down to 8.5kg, with Open Pro 32h, 23mm Gatorskins, carbon fork, 2x mini-v, road drop with lever etc. so shouldn't be difficult to keep it around that weight.

Looks great. Really like the black on black logo.

Would quite like to get one of the long sleeve t-shirts from BMW website but obviously want to save on shipping/customs..
Does anyone want anything from there and we can go splitsies? -

bought some new shit for my v1. thought she needed some love. the tyres should look better after a bit of wear, but im not sure i actually like the look of the zen on there. might stick with my S75. thoughts?

zen doesn't work here
-
• #2795
zen doesn't work with rest of utilitarian look. Longer stem? Looks good
-
• #2796
yeah thought so. will wack it up in classifieds again. yeah 110, still barspin clearance (when no brakessss)
