purely on a hunch, i'd say that these fir bits might have come out of i.s.c.a. (ofmega / gippiemme / and i think even some of the cheaper campag stuff - maybe other brands too) .
i've only ever seen rims before -either fir has had bits made for them or been bought up and the branding been used for stuff made by someone else. check velobase for other italian manufacturers and you might see those bits under other bigger names.as i said, completely on a hunch - might be completely wrong. - some rare and very nice looking bits - it all looks high end and well made

Thanks for the reply - that's the route I'm going down at the moment. The seat pin looks exactly like a Campag one but the derailleur doesn't look like any that Campag have made so I'm wondering if they were either rebranding different parts from each manufacturer or if they were prototypes/samples and then for whatever reason didn't go into production.
Any details I can find are vague at best!
This is slightly different as I know what the parts are but searching the internet doesn't seen to give me any information or results.
What does anyone know about FiR components from the early 90's and Alpina hubs?
Specifically 8 speed FiR downtube shifters, front and rear mechs and rims (FiR ES-80) and a Campagnolo style aero seatpost?
The Alpina hubs are Slim RS 16 on the front and the rear is and RR1.
Thank you!
