I'm continually impressed with the Open Pave (in black) so much so that I've put the half worn set on my commuter fixeh - it rides so nicely and so far no issues normal London roads. They did a whole winter too with no spontaneous deflations. 2 deepish cuts on the rear and small flat spot from a lock up is the only damage. They do wear out fast though. For comparison my conti 4000s have done 12 months every day riding and while there's plenty of cuts they have remained inflated and still no where near worn. They do not feel as good as the vittoria's though.
Question for summer roadie mode though. I'm going to stick to Vittoria Open of some kind - corsa CX or just stick to pave's?
Open Corsa CX/SC/SL to suit your tastes. I've run SCs for the past two summers, great tyre, super fast and comfy but not too delicate either. Got a box fresh pair waiting for my new wheels to arrive.
^ha, I wish they'd price them as inferior.
