Unless @mdcc_tester have some death stories about filing arms.
Considering how much metal I've had milled of Campag Veloce/Mirage UT spiders (and cranks) over the years, I should be dead by now.
The whole reason why Omnomnoms cause trouble is that there is plenty of metal there, they are literally twice the weight of the lightest aluminium cranks
Yup the nds crank clearance is totally fine now but if I face a millimetre off the nds bb shell then the crank clearance will be borked, that's the point I'm trying to make.
Good point about filing the spider. Makes me nervous though. Extending the dimple on the chainstay seems the sensible option. I get that people DIY it but I think I'd prefer to get it done by a professional.
