    Given the clearance to the crank on the nds looks like this, there's not a lot to play with in terms of facing the nds bb shell to mm to move the axle across:

  • That clearance look O.K. to me.

    As for the spider, again look O.K. but can be filed down a little more to give more clearance.

  • Yup the nds crank clearance is totally fine now but if I face a millimetre off the nds bb shell then the crank clearance will be borked, that's the point I'm trying to make.

    Good point about filing the spider. Makes me nervous though. Extending the dimple on the chainstay seems the sensible option. I get that people DIY it but I think I'd prefer to get it done by a professional.
