OMG - Trully amazing build

Brake levers don't spring back so thats pretty shit (no idea how I missed this when they arrived).. Pretty annoying as im now undecided to keep the set or sell it on and find something else. If you want the brakeset let me know and I'll give you a good price. 'edit' unless I can get it working..

Im thinking now to change the cockpit as its now being overtaken by Japanese parts, nitto aero bars maybe?

Lucky for me I won some quite special levers on ebay last week, they not brand new but in quite good condition and will wait for them to arrive to get some nice photos. Kinda wanted it to be ready for tonights bridges ride :-(

They're fine: the springs in the brakes will close the levers.

Looks sick. Nitto aero bars is the dream.

Just realised it is you selling the other set on eBay.

While I like the simplicity/look of the Nittos, the 3Ts can be adjusted both back and forth as well as sideways whereas the Nittos are rigid in that dimension, so the 3Ts offer more ways to get your position right for racing.

But the nittos are...awesome

Thats me, but if they dont sell soon im just going to keep them as they are different to the ones above. They are slightly wider at the base and have a bit more sweep I think. Very true what you say about the 3Ttt's, will stick with them for now and see how it goes. Might have to get rid of the pink tape though :-S

Yours and @Scilly.Suffolk 's Sonic Lo Pro projects got me thinking about setting my Roberts up for its intended use and giving TTing a go.

Probably going to go for Nitto RB021 as a base bar, and @osiem.co 's Romet cockpit looked pretty nice with the Nitto Aero bars so I was considering buying yours. However for the reasons above I decided to go for a cheap set of Bio Arms too for now. If I don't get on with them and your Nittos don't sell I might hit you up...

Either way this project is ace, can't wait for more updates. Hope you find that CHCD ring soon

I've got some Profile Airwings and silver Profile with a deeper drop if you wanted a cheaper option to try out.

Basically started again, took my time and didnt rush it. Where the cable head sits/slots into metal bit of the lever might be only really suitable for external routing? I have no idea but the new lever worked better and will keep it secret for now. Currently only with a front brake as I want to ride it for a bit until I get some carbon pads next week.
Silva tape is soo good, got it on a few bars atm :-)

@BTR88 if you want them bars I can sort you out with a discount, just pm me to discuss. Bio arms do feel good I must say and like you say more adjustable.

Finding a reasonably priced CHCD is gonna be a madness, prob just gonna make some home made ones in the near future.

yeah at those prices I would feel guilty wearing through one haha. Fibre Lyte seem to be a good value option. Since your cranks are already aero you could probably just buy one of their standard aero ones, which I imagine will be cheaper than the custom "total aero" ones.

Im still waiting on a price from them and would need a new chainring soon as the current ones a bit worn and not really round tbh. Will see what they say if they ever get back to me on prices.
