Brilliant finish. Kwiatowski is a monster.

Kwiatkowski went from a long way back. Fair play.

But of a strange race since they moved the finish so far back from the top of the Cauberg but that was worth tuning in for.

Always good to see the rainbow jersey winning.

great fight on the Cauberg and deserved winner.

Moving it back from the top of the Cauberg has thrown up several types of win, and therefore made it more unpredictable and interesting in my opinion.

That was lively.

Orica did everything they planned, but I guess being on Gilbert's wheel wasn't the right place to be in the end.

So many weapons Kwia has. Thought when Matthews followed Gilbert on the Cauberg he had it, but maybe he burnt too many matches doing that and lacked the kick in the sprint. Good to see Sky at the sharp end of the race, they seem to go missing during the hilly classics.

Race got quite interesting once the break got caught. Really seemed like it could go a number of ways. That many at the end isn't what I was expecting.

Oh and Valverde didn't win. So there's that too.

Got the job - heading for Fleche in a minute and with LBL finishing off as icing on the cake, Thursday Friday Saturday delivers some funny/skewed arrangements as well. I'm excited.

I agree. Just used to the race being an uphill sprint. I'm a bit surprised every year just how far it is to the finish from the summit.

Rode the Amstel Gold 240km sportive on Saturday and watched the roll out and a few early climbs in Valkenburg yesterday. Good times.
