Looks like it requires a stupid rear brake too

I've ordered this zipp SL70/bonty race xxx lite "ENVE" combo, plus a nice Hylix branded Kalloy Uno 7 stem. Fingers crossed it's all good stuff.
Does anyone know if the legit oval rail kit for the bontrager posts works with the copies?

Evans should be delivering the OS kit Tuesday or Wednesday, I'll give you a heads up in compatibility.

acetone those canyon logo's off the seatpost and that's a proper nice road bike

Installed the original bontrager OS clamp. It doesn't work if the rails on the saddle is smaller than the 7x10mm the clamp is designed for.

Got everything through today. Very happy so far, though the seatpost clamp was a right pain at first.

@Thuekr - I bought the toroidal clincher rims, built up with Novatec SL hubs and cx Rays. They seem to work fine! Bike shop confirms they are true, built up to about 1500g.
Difficult to say how they compare with other carbon wheels, but they cost about £400 total so good value. Shall see how they hold up. -

Thanks for sharing - I'm building up two sets of the 50mm toroidal as well, not impressed by the internal finish (outside everything is slick)

Could you repost the link for where you got the ENVE kit on AliExpress, seems to have expired?
-

The ones I bought are no longer listed so I dunno. I'll have a look later, I just searched "enve bar"

Thanks, searched "enve" and nothing, but "enve bar" brought stuff up, thanks!

I don't suppose anybody has any spare carbon Chinese Arundle bottle cages they'd like to sell me? I would order from aliexpress, but I could really do with them sooner than they can deliver.

There isnt a carbon specific thread but is anyone using these with carbon wheels? http://www.wiggle.co.uk/lifeline-performance-carbon-road-brake-inserts-pack-of-4/
Legit wheels; Easton EC90.
Should I just go with swisstop black prince? -

Old clubmate uses them with carbon wheels and has said good things. Says they're made by Ashima who are a decent manufacturer. You can't really go wrong for a fiver.

Yeah I'll give it a go .. doesent make sense to spend 1/4th of the cost of the wheelset on brake pads anyway; hopefully they wont melt the rims ;)

Other good cheap options are the Equinox pads from Planet X and Reynolds Blue
What is it?
